In the forecourt of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi, in ancient Greece, was inscribed a command, “Know Yourself.” The login screen for WoW could rightly have the same inscription. I have learned a lot about myself while playing this game.
1. I will do repetitive, mind numbing tasks for the right reward.
2. I prefer to lead, unless I trust the leader.
3. I am a good leader.
4. I prefer small groups of people over large groups.
5. I cannot ignore perceived injustice.
6. I value knowledge and ability equally.
7. I value loyalty over knowledge and ability.
8. I enjoy teaching, as long as the pupil is trying to learn.
9. I have no patience for those who will not attempt to improve.
10. I have no patience for immaturity.
11. I have no patience for stupidity.
12. I have no patience for drama.
13. I have no patience.
14. The journey is more important then the destination.
What have you learned about yourself while playing video games or MMORPGs?

Haha!
Number 13 suits you well...
I personally don't mind a bit of immaturity and stupidity. These lighten the game up a lot, and add to the funny moments! (Omg...did her imp just pull the whole room?!!!)
On the other hand i agree.
You can have all the skill in the world, yet lack loyalty and the willingness to learn and listen.
If i had the choice between a skilled player who refuses to learn anything new, or try things differently, or a skilled player keen to learn, wanting to get better - we both know who i'd pick.
i can tell you get ancy when you are not leading, and i am the same. 99% of times i lead in a pug.
What have you learned about your self then? No stealing mine!!
Fine..
I have learnt that no matter how somebody seems, don't rule them out just because they seem like a noob.
Don't discriminate. Group, party and instance with everyone and anyone you meet.
These are the real fun times of the game.
Also during these you meet a lot of people that know relatively little. If they refuse to not let you pull etc, then warn them, eventually kick them.
On the flipside there is nothing more rewarding that meating an unskilled player, and in the 2 hours of an instance having them learn their role and their class and thankyou at the end for it.
If i had to say one thing - don't discriminate, don't refuse to pug - the game is about meeting new people. Some will be good, some will be bad.
Have patience id say. Someone being a nice person > skill in my books.
Yes i know...i spelled "meating" wrong in my last comment...it was supposed to be "meeting".
What can i say? I'm hungry!
I've personally learned alot about people from this game.
The game really brings out the best and worst in people because they have no accountability, responsibility or loyalty to anyone or anything.
IMHO, Seeking like-mindedness within game is one of WoWs great searches.
There are the ones I have in common with you. :)
